ABOUT ME

Mrs. Tiffany Jones is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider in the Commonwealth of VA and received both her Bachelors and Masters from George Mason University.

She currently works as a substance abuse counselor supervisor for the local government. She has worked for the Department of Corrections as District Mental Health Clinician and previously worked for the county government in the adult detention center as a therapist. Her experience ranges from working with those who have depression and trauma-related disorders to personality disorders. Prior to that, she worked with children in the school system who had emotional disabilities, and families in shelter care settings. She is published in the Journal for Social Action in Counseling and Psychology, has spoken on multiple podcasts, and been interviewed by organizations on the topic of addiction.

She created her business Kitchen Rx, LLC to teach people how their food intake affects their mental health. She focuses her attention on people of color due to the poor relationship we tend to have with food, such as using food to cope with stressors and the systemic, social justice issues surrounding food.

In her off time, she enjoys eating good food from various cultures, meeting with her Supper Club, running for enjoyment and competitively, and traveling. She has been in a relationship with her husband for over a decade.

You can find me on YouTube at "Tiffany J's Kitchen Rx".
